About me
I’m Catalina Montes—a South American model and creator drawn to the in‑between moments: the breath before the shutter, the outtake that tells the truth, the light that feels like memory.
I grew up translating for my grandmother at medical appointments, and it taught me something early: the difference between being looked at and being truly seen.
I work across editorial, beauty, and commercial, bringing a calm presence on set, direction‑friendly energy, and emotional range that reads quietly—never forced.
My goal is simple
To make the frame feel real—not performed. I show up prepared, take direction quickly, and keep the set energy grounded. The best images happen when there’s trust, time, and enough quiet to let something honest appear.
What I bring
When I’m not on set, I’m usually on my balcony with a classical guitar, shooting vintage film, noticing architecture that most people walk past, or trying my grandmother’s recipes—burnt edges included. If your project needs presence more than performance, I’d love to hear what you’re building.
